I have a 97 E320 that is losing freon and was told that I need to replace the evaporator.
So, how do I go about replacing it?? Is there a step-by-step procedure avail that I can follow. Also the dash is cracked and I would like to take the oportunity to replace it as well.. Please kelp

sorry to hear that ... i have the same problem.. i have warm air on one side , and cold on the other..
if i come up w/ anything i will let you know waht was the problem..
