Hi,
First of all this is a great site. Thanks with the A/C diagnostics.
I also have codes from my control unit of:
eb1424
eb1241
eb1459
eb1234
and an FF code
Are they all related to the low refrigerant, and what do they mean?
Thanks,
Jerry

Recently purchased a used 99 300TD and, as above, hot air blows from passenger side and center console (toward the rear). Have heard that the duovalve needs cleaning and lubing and requires a T-10 tool (I have one) and will do so. Am I headed in the right direction.
Signed up for Alldata and either I'm missing something or there is a lot of knowledge required to manuever about the manual. Ideas? Maybe a physical bound repair manual is for me. Any suggestions on which one and where to obtain?
Haven't had a Benz since the eighties when deep pockets prevailed and I alternated a new MB with a BMW through the early ninties. Service wasn't cheap but finances are different now and, egads, although the dealership here, Clearwater, seems good they are high priced. (they didn't suggest the duovalve thing btw).
How does one access the diagnostic codes on that a/c control module? Thanks for all your help.
Hi
Please can anyone help. The two electric fans infront of the engine run all the time, even when the a/c is not selected. This car has only the 38 pin diagnostic socket and my reader does no see a/c fault codes. The a/c seems to work OK apart from this.
Thanks,
Warwick
I have a 1997 Mercedes E320 that the A\C Blower stopped working.
When I turn the fan on, nothing happens. I know the is blower not coming on and not a compressor problem.
Some said it is a fuse. I checked all fuses but all good. Some said it is a relay and some said that I need to reset the A/C unit from the main control unit. If a reset will do, can you tell me how to do it and if you think it is something else, can you tell me what to check for. Thank you,
Andy
I have two problems on my 1997 Mercedes E320.
1)The first problem is that the A/C Blower fan only operates on low the low setting even when I select a higher fan speed. Even on the auto setting the fan stays on a low output. Is my blower regulator bad?
2)My second problem is that occasionally my car won't start and then the two fans in front of the radiator start to turn on by themselves to cool engine. One time I waited until the fans stopped and reset the fuses in the engine compartment(no. 1-8) one a time, while the ignition key was on the 2nd key position. Then I turned off the key and restarted the engine without a problem.
Some one can help me out for these, Thank you,
trnqu
Hey guys, I just bought a used clk 320 and the ac diagnosis values change form 12 to 0 when the car is started. I followed the wire diag. and I feel that I have a defective pressure sensor. Why would the value change in this way? I already checked the coolant on the high and low side, the system is full of freon. I have narrowed this problem down to the ac control unit or the pressure sensor. Replaced the evaporator temp sensor and all my values look good, the ec light is off. Any thoughts or suggestion would help.
Thanks
A/C Blues and Reds for the matter
Have and E320 that ran over a curb, necessitating frame repairs. Having finished repairs, the car functions properly in all aspects excluding the A/C and Heating fan/blower. We recieved the codes E B1234 and E FF. Any light you might shed upon this matter would be appreciated. A
Another point of contention, the battery was changed and the radio needs a code, is thier any relevance because battery was changed to the fan???
Is thier a method to reset the computer, that too would be helpful.
Thanks,
